4 Sections: May Supplement used.

K-3 Section: For any player in grades K-3. Note: any player rated over 1400 must compete in the open section.

K-6 Section: For any player in grades K-6. Note: any player rated over 1400 must compete in the open section.

K-12 Section: For any player grades K-12. Note: any player rated over 1400 must compete in the open section.

Open Section: (4 rounds) Open to any player rated 1000 or above, or adult entrants. Note: any player rated over 1400 must compete in this section, However, if not enough players register for the Open then players may be merged into the K-12 section regardless of rating.

I am considering a parent/child tourney as well. This would simply be the combined scores of parents, or adult relatives/friends and their children. Adults would play in the open section and their score would be added to their child's score. This event will take place provided we have at least 5 groups of parent/child participants. Trophy for first place only. Medals to 2nd and 3rd.

This is a rated tournament and you must belong to the USCF to participate. USCF Membership is available at  www.uschess.org

Round times: 9:30; 11:15; 1:00; 2:45; and 4:30 p.m. Awards ceremony Immediately following, no later than 6:45 p.m.

Trophies and medals awarded to top players. Trophies to top teams in each section as well (top 4 scores for each team counted, any section). Number of trophies will depend on number of entries (and teams) in each respective section. Players who score 3 or better, but do not trophy, will receive a medal.

Entry Fee for all sections is $15.00 if paid prior to May 7th; $25.00 thereafter. On-site entries, $30.00. Registration on-site from 8:30-9:00 a.m. Deadline for early on-line entry is Wednesday, May 7th at 11:59 p.m. (CST) All checks must be received by Thursday, May 8th, and post marked no later than May 5th. Include player name, team, USCF ID # (or school) and section with check made out to Shawn W Noland. Refunds will not be made for any withdrawals after noon, on May 4th.
